Richard Young - Managing Director
Richard has effectively combined his previous experience working in the London advertising industry at both Saatchi & Saatchi and McCann Erickson with his passion for real estate and architecture to provide unparallel commitment to marketing luxury real estate at its best. With his in-depth knowledge of the local sales and rentals market, Richard assists clients in articulating their values and desires, providing exceptional service and guidance in building their property portfolios. Richard holds a BA in International Business Studies and has previous experience developing property management systems for online operators.

Andrea Brome - Rentals Manager
With over 10 years' experience working in the hotel and tourism industries including Elegant Hotels, Andrea comes to us with an adept skill for managing both reservations and property management rentals programme for our clients. Her enthusiastic and energetic personality, passion for providing quality service and sincere interest in her clients’ satisfaction have assisted Andrea in developing strong working relationships with both our owners and repeat guests.

Barbara Bowen - Property Manager
Barbara currently manages several multi-unit developments on the West Coast of the island. With many years’ experience in both management and administration, Barbara is extremely organized and ensures follow-up with clients in a timely manner. Her commitment to service has made her an important member of our property management department.

Joy Bowen - Villa Manager
A valued member of our property management team, Joy has over 10 years experience working in both managerial and administration roles. Joy specializes in working with clients owning multiple properties and delivers well-organized and quality service. Joy is a linguistics major and also has a solid grounding in accounting.

Lisa Russell - Villa Manager
Prior to joining us, Lisa had over nine years experience in the hotel industry, providing her with a keen insight on what it takes to ensure her guests have the ultimate holiday experience while in Barbados. A senior member of our property management team, Lisa manages a number of high-end homes in the premier resort and beachfront communities on the island. In addition to her hospitality experience, Lisa also holds qualifications in architecture and design.

Sharon Drakes - Villa Manager
For the past 2 years, West Coast Villas has benefited from the rich experience and notable professionalism of Sharon Drakes. Sharon has spent extensive time in Europe and South Africa and attributes her competency in villa management and her thorough understanding of customer service to her rich experiences overseas. Along with her efficiency she is also known around the office to be an excellent cook!

Vicky Headley - Villa Manager
Vicky has been a valuable member of the West Coast Villas team for the past 3 years. She has graced the accounts department with her diligence and of course sarcastic humor up until early 2010 when- without hesitation, she took on the additional role of Villa Manager. She is organized, dedicated and hard to distract when she has her head down. Her colleagues say she is“no nonsense” and genuine person…and a joy to be around!

Josette Leacock - Sales & Marketing Assistant
Josette has been apart of WCV team for the past year. She lends invaluable support to the Sales manager, as she efficiently coordinates property viewings and acts as a point of contact for clients, agents and international sales and marketing affiliates. Her creativity and skills have led her to craft many property descriptions and conceptualize designs for marketing materials. Her analytical and writing skills have been certified through her attainment of an honors degree in Psychology and Communications. Josette is very artistic, has an eye for design, and is very fashionable!

Kaye Holder-Rowe - Rentals Agent
Kaye’s 15 years of experience in reservations has carried her from the Crane Beach Hotel, to the Elegant Hotel Group and now to West Coast Villas SIR. The longevity of her career is proof of her love for the field and also her efficiency. Kaye is known for being extremely detail oriented and meticulous-leaving nothing unaccounted for or left to chance. The results of this are scores of happy clients and of course repeat guests. Kaye is also known for her impeccable taste and fashion sense, so its no big surprise that she is also a professional make-up artist!

Cassandra Preece - Head of Sales
You don’t need to employ tricks when you have true expert knowledge and Cassie is the true representation of this. She has been with the company from its inception in 2005 and has proven herself to be an extremely valuable team member. She attained an honors degree in International Relations from Leeds University after which she spent over one year at one of London’s leading real estate companies, Foxtons. Her academic background and experience in the industry together with her travels to Australia and the Middle East have ensured her all the theoretical knowledge, expertise and cultural sensitivity needed to efficiently lead our Sales Department. Not only is her professionalism remarkable and her track record impressive, but we all admire her ability to let loose, relax, give a good joke and share a hearty laugh!

Sasha Smith - Junior Property Accountant
Sasha Smith has been with the accounts department for the past year and is responsible for the payroll and the accounts for some of the newer properties in the West Coast Villas SIR management portfolio. She is reliable, dependable and is totally committed to the efficient completion of tasks. Sasha is always an active participant in our frequent topical discussions and is known to thoroughly enjoy a good laugh!

Keshia Pope - Junior Property Accountant
For the past two years Keshia has been efficiently managing the accounts for most the multi-unit developments we manage. The level of diligence, determination and dedication which she exhibits is indeed admirable. She is multi-talented, and currently pursuing a bachelor degree in fine arts. She is a valuable member of our team and continues to grow and develop within the organization.

Selena King - Junior Property Accountant
Selena is one of the newest members of the Accounts Department. She holds a Bachelors Degree in hospitality and tourism with 7 years relevant experience in the field. She currently provides accounts support for over twenty four properties and has proven to be a dedicated member of the West Coast Villas team. Selena is a fast learner, hard worker and these amazing qualities are accentuated by her vibrant personality!

Candi Nicholls - Villa Manager
Candi has been with the company for just over a year now, effectively operating in the role of Villa Manager. Her efficiency coupled with her eclectic personality and her unquenchable humor make it easy and enjoyable to work with her. One might attribute her vibrant persona and awesome sense of style to her years of work in the fashion industry as a professional consultant.

Oswald Marshall - Our Messenger!
Mr. Marshall has been with us for the past 3 years and has proven himself to be efficient and dependable. He possesses that special old world charm as he is the most advanced in years in the company. He always gives words of wisdom, timely advice and moves us all to laughter with his dry humor. Even if it is simply a short enquiry into how your day is going, it is greatly appreciated.

Joy-Ann Codrington - Receptionist & PA to MD
Joy-Ann is one of the newest members of the team, bringing with her 10 years of experience in the hotel industry. Joy-Ann has a wealth of knowledge in customer satisfaction and not only ensures the satisfaction of clients but also her colleagues. She goes above and beyond the call of duty and expectation- whether lending assistance to a colleague in a job related task or the much needed cup of afternoon tea!

Lynette Phoenix-Walcott - Assistant Accountant
Lynette is a team member of the accounts department, where she handles the company’s accounts and provides substantial support for the entire department. She is loyal and hardworking with over 10 years experience in the accounting field. She has been with the company for the past year and she continually demonstrates her capabilities. The entire office also benefits from her amazing culinary capabilities as she spontaneously whips up delicious treats for our enjoyment!

Egbert Smith - Accounts Manager
Egbert brings over 11 years of accounting experience to the West Coast Villas team. He comes to us previously from the Four Seasons Hotel & Private Residences Project where he held the position of Accountant. He maintains the company statements as well as supervises the accounting team in maintaining the account balances for the numerous properties managed. His commitment to excellence inspires others in the provision of unparalleled service to our clients. Egbert is also a huge sports enthusiast and enjoys sharing his expertise knowledge with his otherwise unlearnt colleagues!

Michael Ward - Maintenance Manager
Michael- more casually referred to as Mike, is the newest member of the West Coast Villas team and boasts over 20 years managerial experience and skills in just about every area covered in maintenance. He is highly organized and extremely resourceful. He has a strong reputation for getting the job done and building trusting relationships. His expertise coupled with his peaceful demeanor render him the perfect problem solver…calm and competent!

Ann-Marie Roberts - Property Manager
Ann-Marie is the Property Manager designated to the luxury development, Old Trees, Paynes Bay St.James. She was born and spent most of her life in the United Kingdom- where she was a qualified Social Worker. 1999 served as a beautiful highlight in her life, as this is when she made the bold step of migrating to Barbados. Her chosen career on the island kept her in the heart of human care, but now cradled in the industry of tourism. It was during this time that she discovered her passion for Property Management. Her dedication to excellence led her to seek out expertise knowledge and professional certification at the University of the West Indies. Since her successful completion of the Property Management programme in 2006, Ann-Marie has been thriving as a villa manager. She attributes her ability to produce excellence and customer satisfaction to her vast experiences, academic background and simply the passion she has for her field!

Monica Blackman - Head of Property Management
Recently selected to head up the Property Management department is the highly recommended, efficient and able, Monica Blackman. Monica has over 20 years experience working in luxury properties on the west coast of Barbados such as: Sandy Lane Hotel, Royal Westmoreland and Cobblers Cove Hotel. She is a graduate of the University of the West Indies and has trained at hotels in the UK, USA and Sardinia through the former Trusthouse Forte Hotels group. She achieved great success in her management roles by creating highly motivated teams to deliver products and services which have continually exceeded clients' expectations. With her years of experience she is determined to create a new culture in Property Management to set the benchmark for years to come. Monica is a team player who loves the game of tennis and interior decorating. She also believes that true success is derived from leading a healthy and balanced lifestyle.
